Raquel Torres, DNP, FNP-C
Raquel Torres is a native Houstonian who obtained her BSN in 2008 and MSN, family nurse practitioner in 2014. As a nurse practitioner (NP), she specialized in providing holistic primary care to individuals of all ages in the Houston area. Throughout her experience, she has worked specifically in woman’s health, general family practice and geriatric populations. In 2017, Raquel obtained her Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice (DNP). She continues to serve the Houston area by empowering her patients with healthcare knowledge and promoting a healthy lifestyle. |

Currissa Alsobrooks, MD
Born in Kansas City, Kansas, Currissa Alsobrooks spent the majority of her childhood and adult life in Texas. The Houston area has been her home since medical school. She graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston in 2004 and completed the Family and Community Medicine Residency in 2007. She has worked in various clinical environments, but in each enjoys the teaching aspect of medicine. In Latin the word docere, from which we derive the word doctor, means to teach. She believes an educated patient has the best chance of a good outcome. In addition to teaching patients, she also has a history of teaching tomorrow’s doctors as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas-Houston. |
